The Pennsylvania State Police issued a statewide Amber Alert Monday evening for a 5-year-ancient girl who they say was abducted from a school in the Philadelphia vicinity.
A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a child missing from Collier County, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced early Monday. The child, Denise Hernandez, 2, was last seen along Wells Street in Immokalee, authorities said.

In August 2003, the first AMBER Alert was issued in North Carolina. A baby was kidnapped in Charlotte during a car jacking. The car was later found abandoned. The baby was found unharmed.
Most cases that qualify for an AMBER Alert resolve quickly with a pleased end. Most, but not all. In October 2010, Hickory Police Chief Tom Adkins tearfully announced an AMBER Alert for 10-year-ancient Zarah Baker was canceled and the investigation turned
