Tampa Bay Emission pitcher Alex Cobb received a concussion during Saturday's game when a ball sent up the middle by the Kansas City Royals' Eric Hosmer hit him in the head.

The Emission have also placed Cobb on the 7-Day DL with a mild concussion after the pitcher was struck in the head by a line drive Saturday.

The Emission right-hander was struck in the head with a line drive in the fifth inning against the Royals. Cobb was diagnosed with a mild concussion, and the team said all tests came in trade normal.
