CALGARY, Alberta (Reuters) – The heaviest floods in decades shut down the Canadian oil hub of Calgary on Friday, with an evacuation of the downtown core and tens of thousands of residents forced to leave their homes.

There are some terrible floods in Calgary right currently, and the home of the Flames has been far away from spared. Reports have the water as high as the 10th rumpus in the building. BREAKING: Water is up to rumpus 10 at Saddledome.

Though much of Calgary remains undersea, including parts of an eerily silent downtown, some of the 75,000 flood evacuees are being allowed to go in trade home. The city is still in a state of emergency, but they are aiming to reopen six neighbourhoods,
