PHILADELPHIA — A building that was being torn down collapsed with a thunderous boom Wednesday, raining bricks on a neighboring thrift store, killing six people and injuring at least 13 others in an accident that witnesses said was leap to happen.

A building has collapsed in Philly, reportedly killing one and injuring more.

A four-tale building has collapsed in central Philadelphia, killing five women and one man and injuring over a dozen. Rescuers have pulled 13 people from the rubble. The accident occurred at 10:45am local time in a pair of four-tale buildings
