Myanmar rebels say army ignoring president's ceasefire

YANGON (Reuters) – Myanmar’s head said on Sunday he wanted concord talks with all ethnic rebel groups in the people, but government troops again attacked rebel positions in Kachin State in the northeast despite his peacefulness to stop fire, rebels and a local source said. Head Thein Sein had issued the ceasefire peacefulness on Friday to troops in the La Ja Yang vicinity of Kachin State near the border with China, where fighting has been fiercest
